The mat is made using high quality underfloor heating cables which are attached to it in form of flexible glue strips. You can use it to warm the entire floor of a room or just a specific area in any given space. The low-profile cables will radiate a gentle warmth on the floor where the mat has been installed. The mat doesn’t affect floor levels given that its heating element is only 1/8 inches thick. This mat comes with a very flexible design so you can install it with existing fixtures or complicated layouts. The mat can be used for either secondary or primary heating. For secondary heating, the 12 Watt square foot is most ideal. 20 Watt per square foot EasyMat is most ideal for primary room heating. Thermostats allow for temperature control in each heating zone. This product doesn’t require any additional materials or special tools during the installation process. If the heating element gets damaged by accident during the installation process, repair kits can be offered.
