As you may already know, underfloor heating is very popular in bathrooms and is ideal for both new buildings and renovations. The system can be installed in wet rooms, bathrooms as well as showers to offer more comfort. The option is quite popular in bathroom refurbishments. When you come to Heavenly Heat, we will offer you three great options to choose from for your underfloor heating systems.
This is an innovative solution made using high-quality heating cables that have been woven into strips. The system has three heat requirement strengths: 12, 15, and 20 Watts per square foot. We recommend the 20 Watts per square foot for when you want to use underfloor heating as the primary source of heat in your bathroom. If you simply want to heat the floor, we recommend either the 12 or 15 Watts per square foot option.
EasyMat offers many advantages. The first is the fact that it is 1/8 inches thick. Once it is installed it will not raise the level of your floors. Secondly, it is flexible and thus can be installed in cramped floor layouts and around existing fixtures. A thermostat can be installed to regulate temperatures and save you money.
This is our second underfloor heating system. The main difference with this system is that it has varying heat requirement strengths which range from 10 to 20 Watts per square foot. Just like with EasyMat, it can be used as the primary source of heat (20 Watts per square foot) or as a secondary source of heat to add comfort to your bathroom floors.
EasyWire is easy to install thanks to the fact that it uses the ordinary current already being used in your home. You don’t need to install a new electrical system. Secondly, it is 1/8-inches-thick which means it doesn’t affect your floor levels. The system is also flexible and can be installed around existing fixtures and in cramped floor layouts. A thermostat can be installed to regulate temperatures in various heating zones.
If you need a more advanced system, the self-regulating cable will be your safest bet. This is a cUL listed parallel heating cable designed for industrial and residential applications. The cable regulates heat output based on the surrounding temperatures. It can increase or decrease its heat output to regulate temperatures. This unique feature keeps the cable from ever overheating or burning out even when overlapped.
Your choice of an underfloor heating system will depend on your budget and what you want to accomplish. We are always happy to advise you accordingly on the best system to use and also help with the installation. Give us a call now to find out more.
In bathrooms, tiles are the most common flooring materials. It is important to note that not all tiles are ideal for use with underfloor heating. Tiles are also prone to small cracks and gaps as a result of seasonal changes in the subfloor. The subfloor contracts when it is cold and expands in summer. At Heavenly Heat, we offer underfloor heating systems with varying floor surfaces and their qualities not only result in efficient floor heating but also protect from issues like subfloor movements.
If your planned floor covering is not tile, we have several underfloor heating solutions that will suit your desired type of floor whether you have wooden, stone, laminate, or carpet.
